Zimbabwe’s tax policy for tobacco products is not aligned with recommendations of the World Health Organisaton (WHO).
Zimbabwe has a regulation requiring 100% smoke-free environments in some public places. Funds are not allocated for the implementation of this policy.
Zimbabwe does not have a toll-free smoking quit line/help line. Smoking cessation support is available in some health facilities in the country.
Zimbabwe has a regulation requiring textual health warnings on the packs of cigarettes and other tobacco products.
Zimbabwe has specific government objectives for tobacco control as well as a national tobacco control technical unit or agency.
