Tobacco industry monitoring, research and accountability course 2023ACTA
The Tobacco Control Research Group at the University of Bath will organize the Tobacco Industry Monitoring, Research and Accountability course 2023 from 10-14 July 2023. This will be an in-person training program at the University of Bath campus in the United Kingdom.
The training, which will be a combination of presentations, practical workshops and peer-supported learning will provide participants an opportunity to work alongside, and be taught by a range of regional and global tobacco control experts, including specialist investigators in the TobaccoTactics team.
The course fee is £1,500 per person, with the option of paying £1,875 to include accommodation.
We are pleased to inform you that a small number of scholarships will be available to participants from low- and middle-income countries who are unable to access alternative sources of funding. Due to demand and limits on funds, there will be a competitive process to allocate these scholarships.
Participants can be from civil society, media, research, or civil service, but should have a demonstrable commitment to use the monitoring skills they will learn in their work.
The deadline for application is Sunday 12 February 2023.
