Uganda does not have a toll-free smoking quit line/help line. Smoking cessation support is available in some parts of the country.
Uganda has a legislation requiring health warnings covering 65% of the front and back of packs of cigarettes and other smoked tobacco products. Pictorial warnings are still awaited.
Uganda has specific government objectives for tobacco control as well as a national tobacco control technical unit or agency.
