Inter-regional Petition
We invite you to sign an inter-regional petition initiated by Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Latin America, in collaboration with the African Tobacco Control Alliance (ATCA) and the Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA) and developed in line with the 2022 editions of World No Tobacco Day and World Environment Day.
The petition exposes with statistics related to Africa, Asia, and Latin America, the ways in which tobacco pollutes the environment, and calls on world leaders to:
- Ban Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/tobacco industry greenwashing
- Increase taxes on tobacco products
- Reject partnerships with the tobacco industry
- Hold the tobacco industry responsible for the harm it causes

Pétition interrégionale
Nous vous invitons à signer une pétition interrégionale lancée par des organisations de la société civile (OSC) d’Amérique latine, en collaboration avec l’Alliance pour le Contrôle du Tabac en Afrique (ACTA) et l’Alliance pour le Contrôle du Tabac en Asie du Sud-Est (SEATCA), et élaborée dans le cadre des éditions 2022 de la Journée mondiale sans tabac et de la Journée mondiale de l’environnement.
La pétition expose, à l’aide de statistiques relatives à l’Afrique, à l’Asie et à l’Amérique latine, la manière dont le tabac pollue l’environnement, et appelle les dirigeants du monde à :
- interdire la Responsabilité Sociale des Entreprises (RSE) et l’écoblanchiment de l’industrie du tabac
- augmenter les taxes sur les produits du tabac
- rejeter les partenariats avec l’industrie du tabac
- tenir l’industrie du tabac responsable des dommages qu’elle cause
